I'm attempting to take some of my lightwave frames and convert them
to TIFF files, and then by using Cross-DOS transfer them to a 1.4M
floppy so that our graphics dept can use them in their PCs.
I've installed a 1.4M 3.5" floppy on my A-2000 and it
does a nice job of reading my Amiga 880K and DOS 720K disks, but it
won't ready a 1.4M formatted floppy.
I was under the impression that I could read a 1.4M if I had the
appropriate drive. However it seems that my Workbench 2.1 CrossDOS software
won't recognize anything else. Are there any programs out there that
will allow me to read anything other than a 720K? How about a
shareware program? Maybe I'm just doing something wrong in trying to
use CrossDOS?
Any help would be appreciated.
